Open to all firms in the region — not just those that are explicitly part of the green sector — this award celebrates businesses making a measurable difference for the planet at a local level.
Why this matters to us
At Green Circle Solutions, we are more than a consultancy — we are a catalyst for local climate action. Our work ranges from helping an events venue measure and report its first carbon footprint, to supporting regional MPs advocating for sustainability hubs, through to equipping SMEs with the tools to go green. Our impact is real, measurable, and growing.
Training for change: Our sustainability training is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project — a globally recognised initiative dedicated to raising awareness of carbon emissions and their impact. We’ve delivered training to trade bodies such as the Event Supplier and Services Association and the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce, reaching hundreds of business leaders.
Leading by example: We have our own sustainability policy covering human rights, modern slavery, and key ESG topics — and we help clients develop tailored policies as part of our wider service.
Education at heart: Our Founder and Director, David Humphreys, regularly speaks at industry events and universities to share knowledge on sustainability. Most recently, he was invited by Caroline Westwood, Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, to inspire Events Management students with insights on project management and sustainability.
